About Me

Hi, I’m Marilyn

I’ve been a psychotherapist+counselor for over 30 years.

I’ve helped people with their moods, problems,

stages of life and all kinds of losses.

Then my Mom died.

Her death changed me in so many ways.

It’s been a powerful teacher

as I learned about grief from the inside out.

I’ve grown emotionally and spiritually.

Grief initiated me into a new identity.

I work with clients differently now.

I am passionate about helping people

grieve death and losses.

What I know for sure is that being of service in this particular way

brings me joy, creativity and a profound sense of meaning.

I am happy to be able to offer my grief coaching services to you.

I know how important it is to have other people around to help with the journey.

Behind the Scenes:

I had a Near Death Experience when I was 11.

My three adult kids, their partners and my grandpets keep me laughing.

I am an explorer of spirituality, indigenous wisdom and intuitive arts. I love symbols, metaphors and creating rituals.

I’ve taught qigong and I’m interested in energetic empowerment.

I volunteer with Hospice, play guitar, love dogs, talk to trees, enjoy Asian art, write an occasional poem, and keep a good book close by. Always.
